스펜서 H. 킴은 항공우주 제품 제조판매사인 CBOL Corporation의 대표이사이자, 항공우주 산업 와이어링 하네스 제조사인 Celltron Inc. 회장이다.
김 회장은 태평양세기연구소 공동창립자이다. 본 연구소는 비영리재단으로서 환태평양 지역 국민들 간의 교량 역할을 통해 상호 이해를 넓히는데 목적을 두고 있다. 그는 미 외교협회(CFR), 국제학생회의 이사회, 한미경제연구소 자문위, 포모나 대학교 태평양 분지연구소, 하버드대학교 아시아연구소 회원이다.
김 회장은 2006년부터 2008년까지 부시 대통령 지명으로 APEC 포럼의 기업자문위 미국대표로 활동하였고 1999년부터 2012년까지 코리아 소사이어티 이사회 이사를 지냈다. 2011년에는 세계경제포럼의 한반도 글로벌어젠다위원회 위원장을 맡았으며, 2012년부터 2013년까지 하버드대학교 민주적 거버넌스 혁신 애쉬 연구소의 펠로우를 지냈다.

Spencer H. Kim is CEO of CBOL Corporation, a global manufacturing and distribution company for aerospace products, and Chairman of Celltron, Inc., a manufacturer of aerospace and industrial wiring harnesses.
Mr. Kim is a co-founder of the Pacific Century Institute, a non-profit foundation dedicated to building bridges of understanding among the peoples of the Pacific Rim. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Board of Directors of the International Student Conferences, and the Advisory Councils of the Korea Economic Institute, Pacific Basin Institute at Pomona College, and Harvard University Asia Center.
Mr. Kim was appointed by President Bush to represent the United States on the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum’s Business Advisory Council from 2006 to 2008 and served on the board of The Korea Society from 1999 to 2012. He chaired the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Korea in 2011, and was a resident fellow at Harvard’s Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation 2012-13.
