한국무역협회 통상지원단 단장으로 통상 분야의 연구, 기업 지원, 대정부 활동을 총괄하고 있다. 민간 전문가로 한-미 FTA, 한-캐나다 FTA, 한-인도 CEPA 협상에 참여한 바 있으며, 현재 민관의 소통과 협력을 위해 통상산업포럼, 수입규제협의회, 비관세장벽협의회 사무국을 운영하고 있다. 서울대 외교학과를 졸업하고 서울대 국제대학원 국제관계 석사와 국제학(국제통상) 박사를 수여하였다.

Dr Hyun-jung Je works as Director at the Korea International Trade Association (KITA). She conducts in-depth studies on Korea’s trade and free trade agreements and provides support for Korean businesses on trade issues. She also organizes the Trade Industry Forum and other public-private consultation mechanism that connects Korean policy makers and trading companies. She holds a Ph.D. in International Studies and a master’s degree in International Relations from Seoul National University.
