송기진은 서울과학기술대학교 토목공학과를 졸업하고, 인하대학교 토목공학과 석사 과정을 수료하였다. 현재 그가 몸담고 있는 (주)혜인이엔씨는 건설 엔지니어링 전문업체로 특히, 항만 및 해안기술 전문설계 회사이다. 송기진 전무는 제1차․2차 제주신항만 기본계획 수립용역, 2종 항만배후단지 기본계획수립용역 등의 책임기술자로 참여하였으며, 국가기반시설인 항만의 개발과 국가 경쟁력 향상에 기여한 바가 크다.

이러한 공로를 인정받아 2009년 국토해양부장관 표창장, 2015년 제주특별자치도지사 표창장, 2016년 국무총리 표창장 등을 수상하였다. 뿐만 아니라 해양수산부, 부산․인천지방해양수산청, 부산항만공사, 인천광역시 등 정부 부처와 관련기관의 기술자문위원으로서 활발한 활동을 하고 있다.

Song Gi-jin graduated from INHA University with master’s degree in civil engineering. Hyein E&C where he has been for years is a construction engineering company, especially possessing design technique related to port and coastal technology. Executive Director Song Gi-jin participated as a lead engineer for the service which is ‘establishment of the first and second basic plans for Jeju New Ports’, and others. Therefore, he has contributed greatly to the development of ports, national infrastructure, and to the enhancement of economic power.

In recognition of this contribution, he received awards from the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs in 2009, governor of Jeju in 2015 and prime minister in 2016, etc. In addition, he has been active as a technical advisor to government ministries and related agencies such as the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, Busan Regional Office of Oceans and Fisheries, Incheon Regional Office of Oceans and Fisheries, BPA(Busan Port Authority), Incheon Metropolitan City, and so on.
